Centerpiece Ideas For A Baby Shower
Any party will benefit from a centerpiece and your baby shower is no exception, so here are a few centerpiece ideas for a baby shower.
Food is one important element of your party and so you might like to think about dressing your food table and adding an eye-catching centerpiece. In this case two good ideas are to make your baby shower cake the focus of attention or to use a floral display as your centerpiece. If you have the necessary cake decorating or flower arranging skills then you can of course make these centerpieces yourself but, if these are not your strong points, then these items can easily be bought in.
If you really want to create the right impression though then you cannot beat a homemade centerpiece and so here are a couple of homemade baby shower centerpiece ideas.
The first idea is to take the theme for your baby shower (which will run through everything from your initial invitations to your parting favors) and to use this theme to create a 'stage' area which can be used as the central point of focus for your baby shower games, such as charades.
The second idea is to create a baby centered focal area which can be dressed to accept the gifts from your guests as they arrive. For example, if the theme for your baby shower is bath time and you have asked your guests to bring gifts geared to this theme then you might set up a 'bathroom' scene to which you can add your guests gifts.
