As adults we live in a world where we are surrounded by other adults with whom we interact constantly whether through our work, socially, through sports and hobbies or simply through our everyday activities of shopping, eating out or simply going for a stroll in the park.
The skills that we need when interacting with others have to be learnt from an early age and it's particularly import when it comes to only child parenting to ensure that your child is given the opportunity to develop these skills.
Here are a few things which will help to set your child on the right path.
Only child parenting is very much about finding a balance between giving your child too much attention and leaving him to his own devices and giving him too little attention. It is also very much about ensuring that he learns to interact with others and learns the skills of playing and working with other children from an early age.

Customer Review: We are doing the book in our small group. I don't like the repetition through out but I do like the content. We are also using the study guide, but you could do without it. Just discuss the chapters.

At least 80% of the writing in this book consists of quotes from parents the author interviewed at the playground-- her friends and relatives, I suspect. If you're looking for insightful comments or suggestions on raising your only c...
